Solana DEX Jupiter will introduce its JUP Token with a circulating supply of 1. 35 billion

Jupiter, a decentralized trading platform using Solana, will release its own token, JUP, for free on Wednesday at 10 a. m through an airdrop. Established

The token will have 1. 35 billion coins available to start with, which is less than the previously announced 1. 7 Jupiter’s founder, Moew, said this in a forum post on Tuesday.

In simpler words, the token could start trading with a value of about $700 million, based on the JUP-U. S Dollar perpetuals were being traded for 65 cents on Aevo at the time of the press.

Out of the first batch of 1. 35 billion coins available, 1 billion are for giving away for free, 50 million each are for lending to market makers on centralized exchanges and for use in liquidity pools, and 250 million are for a special launch pool. Airdrop means giving away free tokens to help more people use a crypto project.

Before November, about 955,000 wallets were connected with Jupiter. Two people can get the JUP airdrop, as said by Airdrop Official.
