Avalanche has made it easier to communicate securely on EVM chains with the Durango upgrade.

-

On February 13, Avalanche made progress by adding the Durango upgrade to the Fuji test network. This plan is meant to make things bigger and also to make sure different EVM chains can talk to each other.

Another great thing about the Durango is Avalanche Warp Messaging (AWM). This technology allows two subnets on different networks to talk directly to each other, and it uses validators to make sure the communication is real. This helps make sure assets are safe and can be moved quickly in a system without needing a middleman.

The upgrade has a lot of changes that the developers suggested to make sure their apps work well with the system. Some features include being able to take out money for P-Chain’s transfers and making it easier to transfer to subchain ownership. It also improves smart contract compatibility with Ethereum through Shanghai Upgrade integration. Also, the VM application error caused by Durango makes it easier for input and failure requests to be processed quickly and for networking tasks to be well-managed.
